"The human soul doesn't want to be fixed, it simply wants to be seen and heard. The soul is like a wild animal - tough, resilient and shy. When we go crashing through the woods shouting for it to come out so we can help it, the soul will stay in hiding" Parker Palmer

Trained and certified as a spiritual director through Sacred Ground Center for Spirituality in St Paul and I provide spiritual direction at Sacred Ground.
As a City House volunteer, I offer spiritual companionship to individuals in the chemical addiction and recovery program at Avivo in Minneapolis. I strive to gently hold open sacred space where those I companion can freely explore doubts, yearnings, insights, fears, passions and joys as they journey towards spiritual freedom and wholeness.
My Christian, contemplative faith is informed (in part) by Twelve-Step spirituality and the teachings of Thomas Keating, Richard Rohr, and Buddhist teacher, Cheri Huber. My daily contemplative practices include Centering Prayer and Tai Chi Chih. As an accredited instructor of Tai Chi Chih, I enjoy sharing this gentle, non-martial, meditative wellness practice with others.
